12/Aug/2010 - Tiger cub found dead inside Bandhavgarh National Park On of the tiger cub of 8-months age of late Jhurjhura tigress found dead in protected area made for their protection within Tiger Reserve. Other two cubs are still missing. Cubs was killed by some other tiger of park. Incident is result of human negligence as protected area was not properly fenced to ensure sufficient protection to cubs from other tigers of the park.
19/May/2010 - Tigress killed by vehicle hit inside Bandhavgarh National Park
On Wednesday, 19/May/2010, a tigress found dead close to water source by the tourists. At first, forest official said that it was due to conflict between tigers or due to illness. In Postmortem report, it was revealed that cause of death is multiple injuries due to impact of vehicle. It has put pressure on forest department to find the truth and reveal the fact. Tigress was with 3 cubs of about 5 months old.
Till 12/Aug/2010, culprits were not nabbed and investigation is going on with no time-frame. Delay in justice is equivalent to denial of justice... |
